Little big man

Tabitha did the honors for Mason's 2nd haircut. I was so glad that we thought to bring the Bumbo seat at the last minute. He did very well & only started to freak out a little about the noisy hairdryer at the station next to us. Did that ol' lady really need dry hair?...sheesh, that's what the Texas humidity is for! Take note that the right sock bandit struck again. Tabitha did a GREAT job & was very quick to hide the scissors when Mason got too curious.

Apparently this was a private concert that I stumbled upon & interrupted with my picture taking.

Mobility update: no forward motion yet, but we do have rocking back & forth on the knees. He is very skilled at traveling backwards & changing direction 360 degrees when seated on his bottom.

 

We have bid adieu to the SwaddleMe blankets! Mason now sleeps rolled on his side with a blanket, his trusty puppy lovie & an extra backup pacie at the ready.

The little big man still is NOT  fabulous eater.  Despite his poor dining habits, he is not lacking in size.  Recently, I tried introducing yogurt melts. As you can see below, he apparently thought I was attempting to poison him. He did enjoy playing with the bag though.

"These things are nasty, but they're not bad on the calories...."

New trick: pulling up on the crib rail. He also likes to pull up to his knees & then proceed to gnaw on the railing with his 5 little budding teeth. Jeff can't hardly watch this happening to the crib he took half of 2009 & 2010 to build.
